New This Season!

North Attleboro Hockey Introduces Instructional Hockey League

This new program will run on Sunday mornings at the POND of Norwood with games being played between 7:00am and 1:00pm. The League is played 4x4 and is intended for the beginner skater. This league will begin SUNDAY, November 2 and run for 22 weeks. The cost is $245.00 for the entire session and will include a game jersey. You DO NOT have to be a North Attleboro resident to participate.

 

This program/league is open to beginner, pre-Mites and Mites (players born 2000 or later) through Squirts (players born 1998 & 1999) who have never played organized hockey before or wish to continue in their development, or perhaps have been away from skating for a while and wish to get back into it. It is played 4x4 for the young, beginner skaters with no “icing”, no “offsides” and no “checking”. It is simply lots of touches, shots and fun and will provide young players a feel for the ice and build confidence. The main goal of this program is to have fun, develop new skills, and to prepare the child for later levels of hockey. As they progress, the program is designed to help children learn the basics of hockey as well to teach puck handling, passing and shooting. Helmets with cages and full hockey equipment is required.
